A blockbuster weekend was had for the Royal School Elite Swim Team in Swansea. The team are really building up some real momentum taking it up a notch from the Midland Short Course champs a few weeks back.
Every team member swam a new PB and stepped up each time in the finals. Matthew Richards once again showed his class breaking five British Age Group Records and winning senior finals in superb times: 1.47 (200fc), 49 (100fc), 22 (50fc). Charley Jones demolished her Pb’s in the finals to win medals and challenge for the win in the Backstroke events. Finn Nicholl, Dan Johnson and Tom Watkin chopped lumps of their best times and gained final swims in the process.
Credit has to go to the entire RWS team that made this meet so positive and memorable- a sign of things to come.
